About
Brad VanTimmeren
I have had the privilege of serving as a high school teacher, coach, and Sunday school teacher. Throughout these roles, I have enjoyed investing in the lives of young adults and helping them grow academically, personally, and spiritually.
I am currently completing my Master's degree in Biblical Studies at Chafer Theological Seminary. Studying and teaching the Word of God, along with mentoring young adults, has become a lifelong passion. My prayer is that these biblical lessons will encourage your faith, deepen your understanding of Scripture, and develop your spiritual life.

A little about me
Let me share a little about the past that has brought me to this point in my spiritual journey. I was lucky enough to meet and marry my high school sweetheart. As our family grew, so did our love for sports. Since my wife and I played college basketball, we naturally spent our days hitting baseballs and shooting hoops with the kids. Besides sports, we also enjoyed farming. We raised pigs and cows, and even sold some strawberries.
Through all that time, we tried our best to keep our family focused on the word of God, and His truths, which help us manage life's ups and downs. My wife and I are educators in both the public and private academic sector, and we also teach Sunday school.
Now that our children are older, I decided it was time to fulfill my life's ambition and pursue more knowledge by attending seminary school. During that time, many often asked how I planned to use that knowledge. I just responded that the Lord would lead me, and here I am, grateful to begin this ministry with you.
Why this ministry exists
My hope is that these lessons will help you, regardless of your age, stand strong in your faith, grow in your understanding, and apply His principles to your life. I want to equip you to share your faith with confidence and clarity in a world that needs Him.
Lately, I've been encouraged to see the cross worn openly and Bible verses displayed on apparel everywhere. This surge in public faith is wonderful, but it also highlights a critical need: while standing for Christ is popular, it requires a deep, firm grasp of God's truth and His plan for salvation.
The Christian life
- Step 1
Salvation
“For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.”
— Ephesians 2:8–9
- Step 2
Spiritual Growth
“…but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory, both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.”
— 2 Peter 3:18
- Step 3
Eternal Reward
“…in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day; and not only to me, but also to all who have loved His appearing.”
— 2 Timothy 4:8
